The KNOW-HOW

The workshop’s first collection is called «Hommage» (tribute). It is a line of stationery and office accessories whose aesthetics highlights the textures of crafts.

The patterns of canning, weaving, braiding or even straw marquetry are combined with a very clean formal language, akin to minimalism.
A collection full of contrasts, visually and symbolically rich. The complete range consists of a set of two paperweights, a pencil case, a pencil holder, a box and bookmarks.

HOMMAGE, la BOÎTE

Finition : laiton poli, verni naturel

La boîte ronde de la collection « Hommage » est réalisée en tôle de laiton. Les différents éléments sont découpés, ajustés à la lime et brasés à l’argent.

Après avoir été mis au point, le motif est reporté sur une feuille de calque puis sur le couvercle de la boîte à l’aide de plastiline et de poudre de sanguine. Après avoir été tracé à la pointe (une quatrième fois!), il est finalement ciselé.

La cannage est un motif très reconnaissable, caractéristique du travail du rotin et de la vannerie traditionnelle.
